Deferment, Suspension or Cancellation of studies
The Management Edge and its students have the right to defer, suspend or cancel students’ enrolment under certain circumstances. All students must
be aware that the deferment, suspension or cancellation of their enrolment may affect their student visa.
Grounds for Deferment, Suspension and Cancellation
The Management Edge has the right to terminate students’ enrolment on the following reasons;
Disciplinary reasons: If student breaches College’s Rules or Regulations
Non-Compliance with visa conditions: If student has poor academic performance or poor attendance
Change in visa conditions:When a student notifies The Management Edge in writing of change to their visa conditions
Non-payment of Fees:
Student deceased
Change of Provider:
Cessation of studies:
Visa Requirements
Overseas students are required to undertake full-time study workload of minimum 20 contact hours per week and achieve a satisfactory academic
progress that will enable them to complete the course in the time frame stated in their Confirmation of Enrolment. Students without satisfactory
attendance or academic progress will be reported to the DIAC, which may result in the cancellation of their student visa.
Address
All overseas students must notify The Management Edge of their current residential address and their contact details within 7 days of any change.
Failure to do so may lead to non-compliance with a student’s visa conditions and student visa may be cancelled. All course cancellations or changes
will be notified to DIAC via PRISMS.
Health Cover – OSHC
All overseas students must arrange health insurance before being issued with a visa and maintain the insurance during the whole stay in Australia.
Failure to do so may lead to non-compliance with a student’s visa conditions and student visa may be cancelled.
ESOS Framework for Overseas Students
The Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Framework regulates education of overseas students studying in Australia.
The ESOS Framework sets guidelines and minimum standards to protect students as well as Australia’s reputation providing quality
